Happy Spring. Happy New Year.
🌷
Spring has always felt like the true start of the year to me—a time to stretch, groan, shake off the sleep of winter, and greet the sun-filled days ahead.
🌷
There is something so tender about this time of year. The light shifts. Life stirs beneath the soil. Stems and stalks crown the earth, reaching toward the light. The sight of red bud and peach tree blossoms makes me giddy. Feeling the softness of tender leaves sprouting beneath my fingertips feels otherworldly.
🌷
Spring is my reminder that vast amounts of beauty and magic are alive and flowing through the world. We need these reminders as we navigate the human-made polycrises of our times. Spring reminds us: nature is in charge.
🌷
This season invites us to fortify our inner architecture. To remember that embracing and making beauty is an emergent strategy—one that moves us closer to the worlds we wish to build and the liberated realities we hunger to embody.
🌷
I hope you too are finding ways to be delighted and inspired by the beauty and magic of spring.
🌸 What seeds are you sowing?
🌸 What beauty is in bloom in the garden of your life?
🌸 What beauty are you bringing into the world?
If you’re looking for ways to fortify your inner architecture:
Move. Breathe. Cry. Listen to good music. Read a good book. Touch grass. Feel the sun on your skin. Hug someone. Connect with kinfolk and community. Reach out and offer a helping hand. Ask for support if you need it. The list goes on…..
🌷
If movement is your jam, I warmly invite you to move with me on the mat @prevailingpilates and @bloom.yoga.co - details are in my bio.
